Chlorpyrifos is one of the most widely-used active ingredients in agricultural insect control products in the world. Chlorpyrifos was first registered in the U.S. in 1965 and has been on the market for more than forty years.

Use:
Chlorpyrifos is used for control of Coleoptera, Diptera, Homoptera and Lepidoptera in soil or on foliage in over 100 crops, including pome fruits, stone fruit, citrus fruit, nut crops, strawberries, figs, bananas, vine, vegetables, potatoes, beet, tobacco, soya beans, sunflower, sweet potatoes, peanuts, rice, cotton, alfalfa, cereals, Maize, sorghum, asparagus, glasshouse and outdoor ornamentals, turf, and in forestry. Also used for control of household pests (Blattelindae, Muscidae, isoptera,), mosquitoes (larvae and adults) and in animal houses.

Chlorpyrifos is a non-systemic Insecticide with contact, stomach, and respiratory action.
