Atrazine is a selective systemic herbicide that can be used both before and after the emergence of a crop or tree to control grass and broadleaf weeds.

Atrazine Applications:
WEEDS CONTROLLED or SUPPRESSED: Annual Bluegrass (Poa Annua), Chickweed (Common and Mouseear), Crabgrass, Cransbill, Cudweed, Dichondra, Florida Betony, Henbit, Knotweed, Lespedeza, Moneywort, Mustards, Narrowleaf Vetch, Parsley-Piert, Sandspur, Smutgrass, Spurge, Spurweed, Swinecrest, Woodsorrel and various annual clovers.
Atrazine may be applied during both dormant and growing seasons. Best results are usu- ally obtained when applied in early spring or dormant peri- ods when weeds are small or have not emerged. Do not apply more than two treatments per year.
Atrazine controls Spurweed, Florida Betony, Annual Bluegrass and many other problem weeds in St. Augustinegrass and Centipedegrass turfs. Atrazine will control both emerged weeds and weeds from seeds. Rain or water within 2 or 3 days of application may decrease the effectiveness on emerged weeds. However, for the control of weeds from seeds, rainfall or watering is necessary within 7 to 10 days after treatment.
