Appearance: amber to brown transparent liquid
Usage: Butachlor is a kind of selective herbicide before sprout. It can be applied either as pre-emergence or early post emergence to control a wide range of annual grasses and some broadleaf weeds in rice field. It also can beused in seedbed, seed transplant field as well as in some crops fields such as wheat, barley, beet, cotton, rape, vegetables and peanut etc.

This product is systemic and pre－emergence selective Herbicide This product is absorbed by young sprout and young second shoot of weed to control the synthesis of protein in weed which can make weed swollen and deformity until weed is dead. Object of control and application:It is of good effect to the weed which is in the condition of sprout or before the weed has two leaves.It can be used on rice seedling field,direct－seedling field,transplanted field and wheat,rape,cotton flax,peanut and vegetables to control annual gramineous weeds,some cyperaceae weeds and broad－leaf weeds such as barnyard grass,junglerice,moleplant seed,crabgrass etc.
Application:
Butachlor is a selective systemic Herbicide, absorbed primarily by the germinating shoots, and secondarily by the roots, with translocation throughout the plant, giving higer concentrations in vegetative parts than in reproductive parts.
Used pre-emergence for the control of annual grasses and certain broad-leaved weeds in rice, both seeded and transplanted. It shows selectivity in barley, cotton, peanuts, sugar beet, wheat and several brassica crops. Effective rates range from 1.0-4.5 kg a.i./ha. Activity is dependent on water availability such as rainfall following treatment, overhead irrigation or applications to standing water as in rice culture.
